The Pre-deposit LDP is the first
formal draft of the plan.
At this
stage it is still a strategic document and sets out:
- The
issues facing the County and how the LDP will tackle these
issues
- The
aims and objectives of the LDP
- The
overall levels of growth planned
- Locations for larger development sites
- The
key policies needed to deliver growth.
The
Pre-deposit LDP does not include individual development sites
for each town and village in the County, or detailed policies.
This will be included at the next stage of the plan – the
Deposit LDP.
THE PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON THE PRE-DEPOSIT LDP IS NOW CLOSED
Responses to the
Pre-deposit LDP
consultation held during
Summer 2008 have been
considered and
recommendations arising
from these were agreed
by Council during
January 2009. A
summary report of this
is available below.
These recommendations
will now be taken
forward into the Deposit
LDP which is currently
being prepared.
